London, September 1 (ANI): Scottish singer Sandi Thom might have found fame on the Internet, but her latest music video has been banned from the website YouTube because it contains scenes of cocaine abuse.
The singer found that the video for her song 'Saturday Night' had been removed only when she logged on to the website on Friday.
The video features a compilation of images of the Saturday nights Sandi's fans sent to her.
There was one image that showed a man with what appeared to be four lines of cocaine in front of him.
She even said that the images also featured a man with his hands down his trousers.
"I thought it was hilarious in a way when I found out they'd banned it, but I also felt bad for my fans who had sent in their pictures in good faith who won't get to see them now," the Scotsman quoted her as saying.
Raised in MacDuff, Aberdeenshire, Sandi was one of the first musicians to gain recognition through the Internet.
She reached No1 in 2006 with I Wish I Was a Punkrocker. (ANI)
