Drunk Rhys Ifans 'posts' his soiled undies!

London, Aug 31 (ANI): Welsh actor Rhys Ifans was caught in the act of posting his soiled underwear as part of a drunken joke, it has emerged.

Ifans, 40, who was with his friends, played the prank after he had been interviewed for Q Radio.

"Rhys and some friends were down in the reception being quite boisterous. They had obviously been sinking quiet a few drinks," News of the World quoted a source as saying.

"He was particularly excited when the postman arrived. He went outside and was singing 'hey Mr Postman' and 'Special delivery' and giggling to himself manically," the source said.

As onlookers looked on, Ifans stunned them and the staff by pulling a pair of men's Calvin Klein pants out of his pocket.

"I don't know what was in there, but it made a couple of people laugh and then Rhys crouched down and slipped the pants between a couple of sacks of mail - all the time laughing away to himself," the source stated.

"When the postie arrived back he looked inside his sack and pulled out a piece of underwear he looked as if he was getting ready to gag," he added.

The Notting Hill star, who made a hasty exit when he saw the raging postman make his way into reception to complain holding the pants at arm's length, escaped being penalised."We did have an unofficial compliant from Royal Mail about a "rogue" item in our post. But no further action has been taken," a Bauer Media spokesman confirmed.

Ifans is currently on holiday in Ibiza and has not been available for comment. (ANI)
