Amy Winehouse most featured celeb in Brits' nightmares

London, Aug 13 (ANI): Amy Winehouse has topped a new list of celebrities and politicians currently appearing in British people's nightmares.

 

The Rehab hitmaker beat rocker Marilyn Manson, who came second in the survey.

 

British PM Gordon Brown came in third while Pete Doherty landed the fourth spot in the poll, which questioned 3,500 people.

 

The top five was rounded out by reality British reality TV show twins The Cheeky Girls, in the survey conducted by U.K. hotel chain Travelodge.

 

According to the chain, having a dream about Brown signifies that Brits are worried about the credit crisis.

 

"These nightmarish thoughts are a manifestation of how much the credit crunch is affecting our daily lives and causing distressed sleep patterns," the Telegraph quoted the chain's Director of Sleep, Leigh McCarron, as saying.

 

"Dreaming about being chased or falling is a reaction to the stresses we face in life.

 

" It's no wonder Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling are making a special appearance in our nightmares at the moment.

 

"Both symbolise the fears we are facing in today's economy," McCarron added.
