One killed as train rams into another from behind near Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, Aug 12 (ANI): One person was killed and five injured when a train rammed into a stationary train near Ghaziabad.
The incident took place between the Vivek Vihar and Sahibabad railway stations this morning.
The Padmawat Express hit the Kanpur-Bhiwani Kalindi Express from behind, and the enormity of the collision was such that the track was badly damaged and the rear coach of the Kalindi Express was derailed.
The injured were admitted in a nearby private hospital.
After the accident, the rail traffic was disrupted on the route and all the important trains on the route have been halted for the time being.
Rescue teams and senior officials have rushed to the site. (ANI)
