Will punish players if found guilty, but handicapped against bookies: BCCI - Part 2

Chennai, May 19 (ANI): Following the emergency meeting to discuss the fallout of the spot-fixing controversy in the ongoing Indian Premiere League, BCCI President, N Srinivasan on Sunday informed that the board has ordered an internal probe into the matter and Ravi Sawani has been appointed commissioner for the investigation. Srinivisan said that any action will be taken against the accused players only after receiving the report of the disciplinary committee and that strict action will be taken against players if they are found guilty. Srinivasan however admitted that the board has no control over the involvement of bookies in the game.
