VASANTOTSAV IN SANTINIKETAN SHOWERS COLOURS OF JOY
Holi, better known as ‘Vasantotsav’ in West Bengal, heralds the coming of spring season and is an integral part of the Bengali culture. The tradition of ‘Vasantotsav’ meaning ‘Spring Festival’ was started by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore at his established town--Santiniketan.
