Three of a family die while rescuing calf from well
Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh), July 29 (ANI): Three members of a family died while trying to rescue a calf that fell into a well in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi. The incident happened in the wee hours of Thursday. Ramratan, his son Manoj and brother Balakram went down in the well one after the other to rescue the new-borne calf but died after inhaling poisonous gases from the well. Villagers blamed the police and local administration for the deaths. They said that their repeated calls to the police went unanswered. Police investigation is on in the case.
