Singaporean Deputy PM, PM Modi discuss bilateral initiatives
New Delhi, Aug 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam to discuss the status of several bilateral cooperation initiatives, particularity in fields of skill development and smart cities. The latter has been invited to India to address top policy-makers during an event marking inauguration of NITI Aayog's maiden annual lecture. During the meet, PM Modi said that he is keenly looking forward to Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's Indian visit in the near future.
