Shivraj Chouhan welcomes ‘Rally for Rivers’, emphasises on tree plantation, river revitalization
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Sep 23 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed ‘Rally for Rivers’ in Bhopal on Saturday evening. Organised by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the programme is designed for revival of rivers and to save every drop of water. While addressing the gathering, CM Shivraj said large scale tree plantation has been started from the banks of Narmada. He also added that though over 6.5 crore trees were planted in one single day; tree plantation should become a lifelong effort. The ‘Rally for Rivers’ programme was flagged off from Coimbatore on September 3.
