Ingredients
Maida - 1 cup
Semolina - 1/4 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Milk - 1/2 cup
Oil for frying
Method:
1. If you don't have powdered Sugar, Powder the Regular in a blender.
2. In a wide bowl add Maida, Semolina, Salt, Powdered Sugar & Ghee. Now add Milk little at a time to mix the dough & knead well.
3. If the dough becomes sticky, gradually add the maida till it becomes dough consistency.
4. Take out a small ball of dough & roll it out flat.
5. Using knife cut it into diamonds or square shape.
6. Heat Oil in a Kadai for Deep frying. Gently drop the pieces & fry it till it turns golden brown colour.
7. Let it cool completely & then store in airtight container.
8. Enjoy this Diwali with Shankarpali.
