Security and honing of skills will be my priorities, says Indias new navy chief
New Delhi, April 17 (ANI): New navy chief Admiral Robin K Dhowan took the guard of honour in New Delhi. Dhowan took charge on Thursday (April 17) as India's new Navy Chief after former head DK Joshi resigned in February owning moral responsibility for a series of accidents. Dhowan will have a tenure of 25 months till May 2016. Speaking on the future course of action for the Indian Navy, Dhowan said that honing of skills of the officials would be his priority. Speaking of safety measures, Dhowan added that the navy would adhere to the safety audits and safety protocols.
