Samba Rava (Broken Wheat) Payasam
Ingredients
Milk - 500 ml
Samba Rava (Broken wheat) - 4 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 3 to 4 tbsp
A few Cashew nuts
A few Raisins
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Method:
1. Boil the Milk, till it reduces.
2. In a pan add Ghee, Cashew nuts & sauté it till it turns light golden brown. Then, add Raisins & sauté it till turns fluffy.
3. In the same pan add Samba Rava (Broken wheat) & keep stirring it in a low flame for about 5 minutes until it gets nice aroma.
4. Now gently add the reduced Milk to cooked Samba Rava (Broken wheat). Keep stirring it should not form lumps.
5. Add Cardamom powder, Sugar, fried Cashew nuts, Raisins & cook it for 2 minutes.
6. Serve it chilli Samba Rava (Broken Wheat) Payasam.
