SC returns Dadri land to farmers, convicts UP govt of misusing land acquisition power
New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Tuesday returned the Dadri land to the farmers, which was taken by the UP government citing public purpose, but was given to Reliance for personal use. The court also convicted the UP government of misusing the land acquisition power in the process. The lawyer in the case said that the SC has stamped on the order and that 1066 farmers affected by the same are happy by the judgement.
