SC Collegium system has completely failed: Markandey Katju
New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): After Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad decided to scrap the SC Collegium system for appointing the judges, Supreme Court Former Judge Markandey Katju said hat the system has completely failed. He said that the candidates should be interviewed about his ideas, workings, & personal life & this should be televised to maintain transparency. Katju further said that the majority should be the judiciary but the government should have a say in the same.
