S/o Satyamurthy 50 days verdict
Allu Arjun's latest movie S/O Satyamurthy may not rank as high as high as his other movies, but just as his ther films it has reached two milestones. The movie has completeled 50 successful days in the box office and has also crossed the 50 crore mark in the box office.
Although 50 crores is a landmark for most films, it won't put a smile on the film's crew and distributors as the movie was sold for 54 crores. Here's a break-up of the movie's collections. AP and telengana grabbed the chunk with 37.65 crores. Karnataka coming in second with 5.8, Kerala with 1.15 and Tamil Nadu with 63 Lakhs. Overseas screenings and other miscellaneous incomes bring the total to 51.6 crores.
As the film sold for 54 crores and the movie raking in only 51.6 crores so far, there aren't many smiles all round. Satellite and other rights will bring in extra cash, but at the end, the distributors might take the hit.
