Rajnath Singh praises Jain community, talks of ban on cow slaughter
Indore, March 29 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday praised the Jain community while addressing a gathering in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. Singh said that Jain community has always preached to live peacefully. He said that terrorism can be fought violently and removed from the world but that mindset can never be changed or removed using violence. Singh further said that as an Agriculture Minister he had tried to get a bill on cow slaughter passed but due to lack of majority it could not be done. He said that now when in government he will make sure that cow slaughter is banned in the entire country like it is done in a few states.
