Prawns in Schezwan Sauce
Ingredients
For Marination
Prawn - 350 gms
Salt to taste
Pepper - 1 tsp
All purpose flour/Maida - 1 Tbsp
Corn flour - 1 Tbsp
Egg - 1 no.
Oil for shallow frying prawns
For Sauce
Oil
Onion - 1 no. chopped
Few cloves of Garlic (Pounded)
Piece of Ginger (Pounded)
Spring Onion - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Schezwan Sauce - 2 Tbsp
Water
Corn flour - 1 tsp (Diluted with water)
Sugar - 1/4 tsp
Garnish it with Spring Onion stalk
Method:
To Marinate Prawns :
1. Add salt, pepper, all purpose flour, corn flour and a beaten egg in prawns and marinate for 30 minutes.
2. Now shallow fry the marinated prawns. Cook both the sides.
3. Heat a wide pan, add oil, onion, pounded garlic, ginger, spring onion, add a little salt and pepper, schezwan sauce.
4. Mix water and corn flour add in the mixture, to get a little thickness.
5. Now add shallow fried prawns and mix it well.
6. Finally garnish it with spring onion and serve hot.
