Poonch gets maize procurement centre
Poonch , Jammu and Kashmir, Dec 04 (ANI): Happiness sparked on the faces of villagers and farmers across Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir after a maize procurement centre was inaugurated here yesterday. District's Deputy Commissioner Harun Malik inaugurated the centre in Jhullas area of Kuniyan. The procurement centre will buy the foodgrain at Rs. 1,365 per quintal from the farmers and handover the produce to the Food Corporation of India (FCI).
