Polka Dots, Floral Prints, Vibrant colors dominate Day 1 of AIFW'15

New Delhi, March 26 (ANI): The first day of ongoing Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2015, which is happening in the national capital, saw a blend of polka dot patterns, Zardozi work and modern color palette. Designer Rajesh Pratap Singh, who grew up in a family of doctors, gave tribute to healthcare professionals through his collection. On the other hand, designer Kavita Bhartia showcased a collection of floral print, sheer gowns and thread embroidery. The day had a lot to offer with designers Nikasha, Payal Singhal, Anju Modi, JJ Valaya showcasing their unique designs. Titled "Bolshoi Bazaar", JJ Valaya's collection was an amalgamation of Indian and Russian culture and sensibilities. Fabrics like crepes, georgettes were used in the garments along with the techniques ranging from digital printing, applique and typical Valaya embroideries to create a perfect blend of the past and contemporary style. Well....no doubt, it was a great start to the fashion week!
