Peaceful polling took place in third phase of UP elections: EC
New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): After the third phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections came to an end on Sunday, the Election Commission of India (EC) said peaceful polling took place in the state and the voters of the region have removed the stereotype attached to it as a disturbing region where peaceful polling cannot take place. The EC also complimented all the political parties, media and various organisations for their contribution in ensuring the maximum participation of citizens in free and fair way.
