PM Modi lauds Shankar Mahadevan's special song dedicated to 72nd I-Day
New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): Singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan launched a brand new song for 72nd Independence Day on Wednesday. Sung by Shankar himself in just one breath, the song revolves around India's growth towards development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed singer's efforts. "Lovely composition @Shankar_Live ! For many, it brings back memories of ‘Breathless.' Like your song, 125 crore Indians are working nonstop for India's progress!", wrote PM Modi on Twitter. The song also features PM Modi. Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani also appreciated Mahadevan's efforts.
