PAKISTAN HOCKEY COACH ACCUSES INDIA OF CONSPIRACY
Pakistan Hockey team coach Shahnaz Sheikh left India after the Champions Trophy with distasteful memories. With Pakistan players embroiled in wild celebration and obscene gesture towards the Indian crowd, the team faced flak from all quarters. This prompted Sheikh to give extended apology on behalf of the Pakistan team. However, Sheikh seems to have done a U-turn and has alleged that it was ‘India’s conspiracy’ to put pressure on his players ahead of the CT final against Germany, which his team lost 0-2.
