One killed, several injured as locals clash with cops
Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, Oct 01 (ANI): At least one person died and many others were injured after a clash between the local residents and policemen in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district broke out on Saturday. As per reports, the clash occurred in the aftermath of the arrest of a Congress leader, Nirmala Devi, who led a protest against a coal mining project. Many policemen and locals were injured in the violence that took place in district’s Barkagaon police station area.
