Nearly 38 hospitalised after drinking contaminated water
Yavatmal (Maharashtra), Mar 14 (ANI): Nearly thirty eight residents of Asola village in Yavatmal state were hospitalised on Tuesday as they fell sick after drinking contaminated water, doctors said. Residents of Asola, a largely parched village, have been drinking water from a 250-ft borewell. The water in the borewell reportedly has a high level of nitrate, which can lead to kidney ailments.
