MEA briefing on PM Modi's meetings with Tulsi Gabbard and Israeli PM Part - 1
New York, Sep 29 (ANI): Ministry of foreign Affairs Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin briefed about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two crucial meetings with Tulsi Gabbard, a member of the US Congress and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. He said that Gabbard, who is a yoga follower like PM himself, expressed her desire to visit India. Gabbard also presented Modi with Hindu holy book, Bhagwad Gita. Further, he said that Modi later met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and discussed how to expand ties in view of change in government of India. He said that the areas of discussion were agriculture and water management among others. Akbaruddin also said that the Israeli PM has extended invitation to PM Modi to visit Israel.
