Krishi Sinchai Yojana will see Rs 50,000 crore spent over five years: Jaitley (Part - 1)
New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday announced that the Cabinet has approved funds amounting to Rs 50,000 crore over the five years to ensure that the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana is a success. The Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana is an irrigation scheme in which the Central government has planned to provide irrigation to the entire agricultural land in the country.
