Karnataka Assembly passes Lokayukta Amendement Bill
Bengaluru, July 31 (ANI): The Karnataka Legislative Assembly on Friday passed the amendment to the Lokayukta act, giving the government more powers to remove the Lokayukta. The passing of the bill has empowered the Karnataka Legislature itself to remove Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao. According to the new law, the Lokayukta can be removed if allegations against him are proved to be true.
