It happens: spread awareness
Coimbatore, July 02 (ANI): In an attempt to create awareness about the benefits of wearing helmet, a goldsmith in Coimbatore city of Tamil Nadu state has designed a miniature helmet out of 250 milligram of gold. The initiative was taken especially to draw the attention of young motorists on roads. Goldsmith, Mariappan, designed the golden miniature in approximately 12 hours. Helmets help in protecting people in the event of an accident. India’s Motor Vehicles Act, enacted in 1988, states “every person driving or riding” a two-wheeler must wear protective headgear.
