Hot cross bun
Ingredients
Flour - 250 gm
Yeast - 5 gm
Egg - 1
Salt - 2 gm
Butter - 30 gm
Sugar - 30 gm
Lemon rind - 1
Dry fruits - 70 gm
Water - 110 ml
Honey for glaze
Method:
1. Add all ingredients in a bowl & mix it well.
2. And add the water & knead well.
3. After kneaded, divide the dough in to small balls around 35 gm each & arrange it in a tray for proofing for 45 mins.
4. And bake the buns at temperature 200 degree for 10 min.
5. When the bun turns golden brown color, remove it from oven & apply the honey on the bun.
6. Mix icing sugar & water, make cross on the bun.
