Hindus and Muslims work together in harmony in Gulbarga's textile industry
Gulbarga, Aug 03 (ANI): Sameena Collection, a family shop offering a variety of apparel for men and women, has been operating successfully in Gulbarga for the last thirty years. Its owner says there has been no tension between Hindus and Muslims who work in his four shops. The employees, too, claim they have never faced discrimination as their employer treats everybody equally. Sanju, who has been working here for last eight years, vouches for his owner. Gulbarga, a city of flowers and gardens, is a mix of Hindu and Muslim population, living in peace and harmony. Famous Sufi shrines and Hindu temples dot the place, visited by both the communities. Mehrajuddin’s decision to appoint Hindu men as his employees has earned him praises. Muhammad Mehrajuddin is not a lone example. There are many establishments across India which employ both Hindus and Muslims and have never reported any religious acrimony.
