Four die as passenger train rams into tempo traveller in UP
Mainpuri, Sep 01 (ANI): Four people were killed and seven injured when a passenger train rammed the vehicle they were travelling in on Tuesday (September 01) in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. The train, which was on its way to Shikohabad from Farrukhabad, hit a tempo traveller at unmanned Jamaura railway crossing in Bhogaon area of the district. According to eye witnesses, the tempo traveller was crushed after being hit and was dragged by the train for approximately 50 metres. The injured are being treated at the medical college in Agra city. As police did not reach the accident spot on time, passers-by and train passengers rescued the victims and rushed the injured to the hospital. Train services were also interrupted for a brief time.
