Fierce gunbattle in Kashmir between security forces and militants
Handwara/Lolab, Oct 24 (ANI): Indian security forces indulged in a fierce gunbattle with militants in Handwara area of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening. The operation is still on and further details are awaited. Meanwhile, a joint team of police and army recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunitions in Lolab of Kupwara district in north Kashmir. A police official said that acting on a tip off information a joint search operation was launched with 28-RR (Rashtriya Rifles) in the forest area of Watnar, Anderbugh, Lolab.
