EC FINDS ASHOK CHAVAN GUILTY OF FUDGING POLL EXPENSES IN 2009
Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan is now facing the heat from the Election Commission as the poll body had found him guilty of fudging his poll expenses during the state elections in 2009. The poll body’s order came on the complaint of former Maharashtra minister Madhavrao Kinhalkar, who received defeat at the hands of Chavan from Nanded in 2009.
