Deoria shelter home case: CM Yogi orders removal of DM Sujit Kumar
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 06 (ANI): At least 24 girls were rescued from shelter home in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria on Sunday. The girls were allegedly forced into prostitution by the owner. Uttar Pradesh Women and Child Welfare Minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi informed that District Magistrate Sujit Kumar, who was posted in Deoria from past one and a half years, has been removed by the order of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “The investigation committee will submit the report today and further action will be taken against DM after the reports come”, she added.
