Delhi HC directs Haryana to release water to national capital
New Delhi, March 28 (ANI): In a major victory for the Aam Aadmi Party-led government in the national capital, the Delhi High Court directed the Haryana government to release the city's share of water. After the verdict, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to twitter to express his satisfaction. "Delhi High Court directs Haryana to release Delhi's share of water. Congrats Delhiites. I hope water situation wud be better these summers," he tweeted. Further details are awaited. Earlier, Kejriwal accused the BJP government in Haryana of reducing the water supply to the national capital through the Munak Canal.
