BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR J & K GETS THUMBS UP FROM VALLEY
By presenting a populist but growth- oriented General Budget, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley impressed the people of Jammu and Kashmir for proposing measures for the northern most state of the country. The rehabilitation package for displaced Kashmir Pandits was welcomed though the scheme for isolated ‘safe havens’ faced opposition.
