BSE closes 145.47 points up on Oct 20
New Delhi, Oct 20 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 145.47 points up to stand at 28,129.84. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 40.30 points up to stand at 8,699.40. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd and Syndicate Bank were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 6.26 percent and 6.06 percent along with Delta Corp Ltd and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. with an increase of 5.92 percent and 5.62 percent respectively while the top losers of group A include Kajaria Ceramics Ltd. and Va Tech Wabag Ltd with a decrease of 9.08 percent and 5.04 percent along with Bayer Cropscience Ltd. and Gati Ltd with decrease of 3.11 percent and 2.78 percent at close of the markets. The Auto sector is down at 8.51points at 22231.90 while the Banking sector is up at 315.20 points at 22542.48 and the Realty sector is up at 14.86 points at 1538.06. The Indian currency is 0.16% up with Rs 66.78 per dollar.
