BJP slams govt over new service tax regime
New Delhi, July 01 (ANI): BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has slammed Congress led UPA government for increasing the range of the service tax. He told reporters that the central government s move would adversely affect the common man. The central government had decided to implement the negative list from July 1.All other services, except those mentioned in the negative list, would become more expensive with the implementation of the new service tax regime. Naqvi also said that the nomination of the vice presidential candidate would be taken up only after the conclusion of presidential polls.
