Athletes run to spread awareness against drug abuse
Shimla, June 26 (ANI): Thousands of athletes participated in a half-marathon organised with an aim to spread awareness against drug abuse in Shimla on Sunday. June 26 is celebrated as the International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. Himachal DGP Sanjay Kumar flagged off the half-marathon against drug abuse. Participants from different states and of all age groups participated in the marathon. This is an annual feature of Himachal Pradesh, which was started two years ago by the state police to make people aware about drug abuse.
