Arvind Kejriwal celebrates Raksha Bandhan with his sister in Haridwar

Haridwar, Aug 29 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday reached Haridwar to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with his sister Dr. Ranjana Gupta. Gupta tied rakhi on Kejriwal’s wrist and wished for his well being. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Kejriwal extended his wishes to all the women of the nation and said that he wanted them to be safe. Earlier, Kejriwal had travelled to the holy city of Haridwar from the national capital via train. Rakshabandhan is a Hindu festival that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters. On Rakshabandhan, sisters tie a rakhi (sacred thread) on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her.
