India mourns demise of Captain Lakshmi Sehgal
Kanpur /New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): India today mourns the death of veteran freedom fighter Captain Lakshmi Sehgal, who worked with revolutionary Subhash Chandra Bose during the struggle for independence. The family along with the party leaders paid tribute to the legendary woman. Speaking to reporters in Kanpur city, Sehgal s daughter Subhasini Ali said that the family decided to get her rid of her pains and asked the doctors to remove the life support system. BJP Leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Sehgal played an important role in India s freedom movement. JD (U) Leader Sharad Yadav also paid tribute to Sehgal.
