INDIAN JUNIOR MENS HOCKEY TEAM RETAINS SULTAN OF JOHOR CUP
An aggressive final of the 4th Sultan of Johor Cup played at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in Johor Bahru saw the Indian Junior Men’s Hockey team stealing the show away from Great Britain with the final score of 2-1 and retaining the title of the Sultan of Johor Cup for the second time. Hero of the match Harmanpreet Singh was the top scorer of the tournament with a total of 9 goals. Singh also took home the trophy for player of the tournament. Indian colt’s captain, Harjeet Singh was adjudged most promising player of the tournament.
