JAITLEY ALLOCATES RS 500 CR FOR 5 NEW IITs AND 5 NEW IIMs
"Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today proposed setting up of five new Indian Institutes of management (IIMs) and five new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Jaitley has proposed the setting up of five new IITs in Jammu, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. The five new IIMS will be set up in HP, Bihar, Punjab, Maharashtra and Odisha. While presenting his maiden budget in the Lok Sabha here Jaitley allocated a sum of
Rs 500 crore for this ambitious project.
