Prof Arun Kumar, noted economist and author -- The Black Economy in India, who is an authority on the subject of black money said the government's move would not be a killer strike to stop generation of black money.
Speaking to nnis, he said “Moving towards less cash economy may be desirable, but that has to be done separately from this demonetisation. They cannot be mixed up. But they are trying to mix up the two as if that was the main aim. It was not the main aim , it requires a lot of preparations and that preparation does not exist.”
