'X-Men' proves to be an apocalypse for 'Sarbjit'

New Delhi, May 23 (ANI): Looks like the mutants have not only taken over the bad guys but the box-office as well. The latest 'X-Men' film titled 'X-Men: Apocalypse' has thrashed Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai starrer 'Sarbjit' at the domestic box-office. After raking-in Rs 3.69 crore opening on Friday, 'Sarbjit' only managed measly Rs 13.96 crore in three days since its release. On the other hand, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence-starrer 'X-Men' cashed-in Rs 16.21 crore over the weekend. Made on an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore, the figures of the biopic remained disappointing over the weekend as well. It will be exciting to see which film rakes-in more moolah at the box-office in the coming week.
