New Delhi, Jan.21 (ANI): Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh today approved in principle the construction of two roads in Arunachal Pradesh, namely a road from Bameng to Lada (55 kms) and another road from Miao to Vijaynagar (157 kms) under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) Scheme of the Ministry of Rural Development. Lada, a remote circle headquarter in East Kameng district, is yet to be connected by a road. Due to lack of road communication majority of the inhabitants of the area - mostly Sajalongs and Puroiks - have migrated to settle in the foothills of East Kameng and West Kameng.
