Three policemen killed in Jharkhand bus accident

Ranchi, April 5 (IANS) Three policemen were killed and six others were injured when a minibus carrying them dashed against a tree in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand Sunday, the police said.

 

According to the police, around 20 policemen were in the minibus, when the vehicle's driver lost control and hit a tree near Jora flyover in the district, around 170 km from Ranchi, Sunday afternoon.

 

 

One policemen died on the spot and two more died on way to a hospital. The six other injured policemen were admitted to a local hospital, from where they were referred to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) in the state capital. Doctors said the condition of two of the injured policemen was critical.
