New Delhi, Feb. 12 (ANI): All India Congress Committee General Secretary Digvijay Singh has attributed consistent Indian pressure on Pakistan that eventually led to the case registration against Ajmal Amir Kasab, and 14 others but termed it was not "enough".
"We are happy to note that due to India's consistent pressure, Pakistan had to register case against Kasab and others...But that is not enough. We would like all the 20 people, named in a list given to Pakistan, including Dawood (Ibrahim), to be sent to India to face trial," AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh told reporters here on Wednesday.
Singh asked Pakistan to shutdown the terror camps, which are running in its territory to justify its stand in the war on terror.
"But we will have to wait and see (Pakistan's intention). The entire world is looking at it. All the terrorist training camps in Pakistan must also be made non-operational," he said.
The Congress leader also asked Pakistan to hand over the 20 people named listed in the Indian dossier to Pakistan.
"They have committed crime in New Delhi and should be persecuted under the country's laws," Singh said. (ANI)
