Utimaco opens office in India

Mumbai, Feb 10 (ANI/Business Wire India): Utimaco Safeware AG, the data security company and a member of the Sophos Group (www.sophos.com), today announced the opening of its newest office in Mumbai.

 

The new office opening signals Utimaco's increased focus on extending its brand to all corners of the globe.

 

Utimaco solutions have been marketed in India through Value Added Distributors including WeP India Ltd. and IValue Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. for more than a year.

 

On the heels of recent expansion in the United States, Poland, Australia and New Zealand, Utimaco saw the opportunity to further its international efforts of delivering comprehensive, 360 degree security solutions to growing, successful international markets.

 

The Asia/Pacific region accounted for 40.6 per cent of worldwide real GDP growth in 2008, a notable increase from 33 per cent in 2007, and leading analyst firm Gartner forecasts continued expansion through 2012.
