Chakpora (J-K), Jan 23 (ANI): Wildlife officials in Kashmir have rescued a leopard that was trapped inside a house at Chakpora village in Kulgam District of Jammu and Kashmir.
The rescue mission lasted four hours.
Officials said wild animals have a tendency to move towards the plains when there is heavy snowfall in the upper reaches.
Residents leaved a sigh of relief after the trapped leopard was rescued and whisked away.
"The animal could have injured or killed many if the police and the wildlife officials had not come on time," claimed Mukhtiar Ahmed, a resident. (ANI)
